Adventure based learning is a hands on experience where activities are used as a means to discover individual or team ability and potential. Each camp program is designed to fulfil goals which are centered on a number of areas including leadership, communication, trust, teamwork and self-esteem. 

Total Adventures organises and facilitates over 200 school camps each year, offering tailor made and multi level programming for years 3 to 12. With over 15 years experience in programming and implementing school camps and over 30 years experience in adventure training, Total Adventures is once again in the forefront by adding three unique school camp programs to its repertoire; Wilderness, Eco and Surf Camps.  Camps include activities ranging in duration from half day to full week; activities that build confidence and give a sense of self worth. Total Adventures uses fun, stimulating activities that include - abseiling, archery, bush navigation, canoeing, indoor rock climbing, leadership activities, mountain biking, outdoor rock climbing, challenge ropes courses, surfing, body boarding and team development activities ... with new activities added regularly.

The school camp environment is always positive and supportive with team members having fun along the way. Students achieve a heightened respect for individual differences, a deeper level of integrity, compassion and courage. These qualities which stay with them throughout their life, leading to more positive interactions with others including their peers, teachers, family and the wider community.
